This Whimsie is named Lena the Cleaner. I guess she’s a “Cleaner” which is a sort of job, like being a maid. I don’t know how I feel about this. To my way of thinking, Whimsies should never have to work. We get by on our good looks, and our ability to charm People into taking care of us. Why is Lena cleaning? Does she ….brrrrr…actually like cleaning? Or maybe she’s simply bored? I don’t understand her.
I also don’t understand why she has a fork, a knife and a spoon tucked into the clear pockets of her smock. Why would she need a fork, a knife and a spoon? People use these for eating food, but everyone knows that Whimsies don’t eat. I’m imagining maybe Lena uses the fork and knife to clean out dirt from cracks and crevices? Bleah! But then what does she use the spoon for? Measuring out detergent?
It seems to me maybe Lena doesn’t really know much about cleaning. If she did, she wouldn’t use kitchen utensils to do the dirty work. It’s just…not right! I also think she doesn’t know much about cleaning because…well…look at her! She herself is so clean! So pretty! Look at her beautiful silky hair and clear bright complexion! Look at her rosy cheeks! Nobody who is engaged in backbreaking manual labor to that extent could possibly come away from it looking so pretty!
No, if you ask me, Lena should give up her job as a Cleaner and, if she’s insistent on having a job, apply at a Modeling Agency. She is certainly pretty enough to be a model, don’t you think? When I consider all the pretty outfits Tillie, Trixie and I have, and how good we look in those outfits, it strikes me that a Whimsie like Lena wearing those same clothes would send them through the roof of the fashion world! Anything she put on would instantly become a Top Fashion Pick, and yet she insists on wearing that silly cleaning apron.
I don’t understand her…
And how about this? She has such pretty red ribbons in her hair, and is that a diamond necklace she’s wearing? What kind of maid wears a diamond necklace? I think Lena is a mite bit confused.
And one more thing! Look at her groovy sandals! Who wears sandals like that when they’re cleaning? It’s hard to imagine that the sandals and the cleaning outfit came together as a set, but maybe they did, and she’s reluctant to break them up? I would love to have a cool little pair of red sandals like that! How can I get some? Maybe I need to find out how to contact Lena, and ask her about it. But she’s so beautiful, I wonder if she would even bother to talk to a lowly Whimsie like me…
As you can tell, I’m somewhat intimidated by the beauty of this Whimsie. I feel like because she is so beautiful, she might look down on me. But then, I have to remind myself…she sees herself as a maid, who likes to clean things with a fork and a knife. So maybe I’m wrong. Maybe she would be intimidated by me!
Oh, I wish I could meet her and find out!
