First, I want to apologize for myself and my fellow Whimsies, for not having a Round Table Discussion the other day, after the latest SHIELD episode. We were so blown away by what happened, we didn’t know what to say, never mind what to think or feel! Even now, a few days later, we are doing better, but we are still reeling from these developments. To tell you the truth, we’re a little bit afraid to watch the next show. No idea what will happen this coming Tuesday.
In the meantime, seeing how distraught we are, Miss Chrissy has attempted to relieve our distress by giving us this special treat of letting us try on some of the new Christmas clothes she recently bought us in Florida. We Whimsies love Christmas so much, trying on Christmas clothes was definitely a mood booster! We don’t want to give away all our Christmas secrets, but here’s a taste of what we have to look forward to next December. Fortunately, Whimsies wear size “NB,” which in our case means “Never Bigger,” so Miss Chrissy is able to buy us clothes at any time, and at any time in the future, they will still fit.
And this little Chrismas jammie fits just perfectly! How bright and colorful! How warm and comfortable! I think Trixie, Tillie and I will be fighting to take turns wearing this pretty jammie, come the holiday season. Of course, there’s plenty of time between now and then, so there’s a really good chance Miss Chrissy will be able to find two other equally attractive and adorable Christmas jammies before then.
For right now, though, I just wanted to let everybody see that despite the horrible betrayal of Mr. Joss Whedon, we Whimsies still have a smile upon our faces. With some things in life, like action-packed TV shows by rude, crude directors, you just never know what’s going to happen. But you can always be certain of other things—like the joys of Christmas.
Miss Chrissy recently went on a week’s vacation to Florida. We missed her, but knew we would be perfectly fine without her for a short while. The Man had no trouble taking care of us…but then, that’s because we Whimsies are extremely easy-going! So undemanding!
As you can see, I’m wearing a denim dress, with a large Peter Pan collar, covered with embroidered flowers. There’s something so lovely about the combination of denim—which is rugged and athletic—with the delicate detail of embroidered flowers! I kept the shoes on with this outfit, since Tillie and Tessie didn’t really need shoes for their outfits. They are dressed much more casually, in clothes you would probably only ever wear hanging around the house.
We got a few more Boutique items from Florida, but two are gorgeous Christmas dresses, so we won’t be showing you those for a while. Also: a new pair of shorts, but these are not yet weather-appropriate, so we’ll have to wait to debut those as well. But with Spring springing up all around us, that will be soon…very soon!
Hi! Trixie here! I know last time Tessie told you all about how Spring is on its way, but somehow, once Spring starts to spring, I find the warmer weather so exciting that I just can’t help but look forward to Summer!
I loved to sneak out and just sniff and sniff all those wonderful smells of hot dogs and hamburgers, grilled onions and peppers, and especially toasted marshmallows!
A few weeks ago, I reported how I put on a Winter coat and our new shoes to head outside to listen to the first birds of Springtime. Today was the official first day of Spring, and the weather was so beautiful, and so Spring-like, that we asked Miss Chrissy if we might go outside, and she readily agreed. Miss Chrissy was hanging some towels to dry in the bright sunshine, so we figured if that sunshine was good enough for towels, it was good enough for us as well!
