Today was another one of those lovely Springtime days, so the Whimsies wanted to spend it outdoors. So, as is their custom, they foraged through their Wardrobe until they found the perfect outfits for a day like this—all soft clothing, in a combination of solids, stripes and polka dots. (You may not be able to see it in this picture, but Trixie is wearing polka dot pants!)
The Whimsies also wanted to hang out with their miniature dinosaur pets, so after they took their daily walk all around Whimsieville, they settled down on the porch to hang out and play games. First, they all played the Memory game, and you would be surprised to learn what good memories dinosaurs have! Fred won. Then they played “I Spy” and 20 Questions, and Tag, and Red Light, Green Light, and they finished up the afternoon with a quick game of Kick Ball (at which, I am afraid to tell you, miniature dinosaurs are not very good at all—the Whimsies won! It was a shut-out.)
I managed to snap this lovely portrait of the happy group late in the day, when they were all starting to feel a bit tired, but, as you can tell by their smiles, obviously happy. And who wouldn’t be happy, with such a day of perfect weather, fun games and good friends?
